The buses full of excited chancichim (campers) rolled up Mosh Road as the crazily dressed Madatz were ready to meet them! The Madatz gave both old and new campers a proper welcome and smiles were abound as kids piled off the bus.
Madatz, as per the tradition, got costumes from the costume closet and sang and danced with the chanichim all the way down the kikar (path) to the MLC (pavilion).
The kids then went to the MLC and were greeted by tzevet (staff). The kids hung out here performing ice breakers and chatting with old friends while meeting new friends before they finally found out where and with whom they would be living. Kids eagerly walked to their respective shetach (livving area) to claim their beds for the rest of the session!
Expect another blog post later today about the kids first peulat shichva (activity with your age group!
