A message to parents for Visitor’s Day:

A message from Peter Gray: Parents who want to bike to Mosh for Visitor’s Day

It is a long ride (80 miles from Georgia Avenue and 495) but well worth the scenery and applause from the kids when we arrive. Anyone who is interested in such a journey on either July 8 or August 5, please contact Peter Gray at pbuster3@aol.com. I start early (5:30 a.m.) and stay on two lane roads that have very little car traffic on a Sunday morning. The goal is to get to Mosh by 12:30 p.m. in time to share lunch with our kids and other parents. I have done this a few times and it is fun every time. It will be more fun if there are more of us doing it together.

  1. Yay! I biked to Mosh for Visitor’s Day in ’93 or ’94. Great trip, and wonderful way to see Maryland.

  2. Peter, this is a great idea. Can’t do it this year,. but I’ll train for next year!
