Schiya (swimming) happens at the brecha (pool) every day. The whole machaneh comes together to spend time swimming with each other. It’s a great place for shikvot (age groups) to intermingle and tzevet (counseling staff) members to spend time with kids.

Kids often swim the length of the pool, hang out and play games in the shallow end or link hands and move in a circular motion to create a whirlpool. Everyone enjoys schiya especially on hot days.

There are 10 tzevet members who are certified lifeguards at Mosh. Lifeguards get re-certified every year. There are always five or six lifeguards present at the pool when kids are swimming.
